Indian politics is NOT secular in true sense of the word; on the other hand they cannot declare that either, because Indian constitution prevents the symbiosis of politics and communalism. Communal parties and organizations continue to be operative in politics. Even secular parties do not refrain from exploiting communal sentiments for political gains. The only way to be thriving and constitutionally correct in Indian politics is to preach secularism and practice communalism. Rather than just being a democratic communal sham, India should strive to be a demo critic secular polity. The change, if brought, is only possible by a collective effort…collective effort…what a joke!
Secularism is a social myth!
