Sedimentation is the arrangement of soil particles in layers . Sedimentation has great impact in the wet regions. It increases biodiversity by changing the location of organisms due to sediments arrangement. Organisms such as plants tend to grow in different areas rather than their fast places. It improves the quality of water by filtering it and adding minerals from the sediments. Some organisms capable of mobility are forced to migrate because of sedimentation ,this leads to loss of habitat.Turbidity decreases because the sediments particles filters any particles in water making it clear.
