Hi,

Prasika - How are you?

Doing Holiday Homework :-) Best of Luck

According to my calculations, a triangle having a Leg a length of 1.4 and a Leg b length of 4.8 would have a hypotenuse c length of 5. So, your answer is absolutely correct.

Here is how I solved for hypotenuse c using the Pythagorean Theorem.

Hypotenuse = sqrt[ (Leg a)^2 + (Leg b)^2 ]
Hypotenuse = sqrt[ (1.4)^2 + (4.8)^2 ]
Hypotenuse = sqrt[ 1.9599999999999997 + 23.04 ]
Hypotenuse = sqrt[ 25 ]
Hypotenuse = 5

Hoping it helps
