Because in 3*3 it is equal to sum 3 thrice time and 3+3 is sum only two times

This is the reason why 3*3 not equal to 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope you meant 2+2 = 4 and 2*2 = 4 , but, 3+3=6 while 3*3 = 9 and not 6

2 + 2 = 4.. plain addition, right?

Now 2*2 means you are adding '2' two times, that is 2+2 = 4

3+3 = 6... again plain addition

3*3 means '3' is added three times, that is 3+3+3 = 9

Hence 3+3 and 3*3 are not equal.
