1.Take dilute HCl in a beaker.

2.Close it with a cardboard and introduce two different colour electrical wires through the holes made on it.

3.Connect a bulb and make the connection as shown in the figure.

4.Do the same replacing dilute HCl with dilute CH_{3}COOH (acetic acid). Observation :

The bulb glows brightly in HCl solution, while the bulb intensity is low in acetic acid solution....

Result:

More ions are present in HCl solution which is a strong acid than in CH_{3}COOH solution which is a weak acid.

Answer:

weak and strong acid depend on the no of h+,ions released by an acid while pouring in the water . if more no. of h+ ions released by an acid it is strong acid and less no. of ions released then it is weak acid

example of weak acid is h2so4 and HCl

example of weak acid is acetic acid vinegar
