Radius of the circle = 40 cm

We know,

Area of circle = πr², where 'r' = radius.

(Let us assume that 'π' = 3.14)

∴ Area of the circle = π(40 cm)²

= 1600π cm²

= (1600)(3.14) cm²

= (16)(314) cm²

= 5024 cm²

(d) 5,027 cm²

[Because it is closest to the area!]
