By Snell's law,

Sin i/Sin r = u(Meu)

Where i is angle of incidence and r be angle of refraction and u is refractive index of medium.

Given,i=30°

u=1.5

Therefore,by Snell 's law,

Sin 30°/Sin r =1.5

1/2Sin r=3/2

Sin r=1/3

r=Sin inverse (1/3)..
