The tissue is phloem tissue.

its function is to transport food and minerals from the leaves to the other parts of the plant.

X- phloem parenchyma

Y- sieve plates

Z- companion cells

As it is made up of many types of cells and tissues and performs the extensive work of transportation of food. it is made up of mostly living cells except phloem sclerenchyma. hence it is a complex tissue.

components are phloem parenchyma, phloem sclerenchyma ,companion cells and sieve plates.

it is located throughout the plants as its main function is to transport food from the the kitchen of the plant that is the leaves to the other plant parts.
