Hello Mate!

p - \frac{(3p - 2)}{3} = 2 + (p - 4) \\ \frac{3p - 3p + 2}{3} = 2 + p - 4 \\ \frac{2}{3} = - 2 + p \\ \frac{2}{3} + 2 = p \\ \frac{2 + 6}{3} = p \\ \frac{8}{3} = p

Your answer is 8/3 but not 8/5 friend.

Hope it helps☺!

p - \frac{(3p - 2)}{3} = 2 + (p - 4)

 \frac{3p -(3p - 2) }{3} = 2 + p - 4

 \frac{3p - 3p + 2}{3} = 2 + p - 4

 \frac{2}{3} = p - 2

 \frac{2}{3} + 2 = p

 \frac{2 + 6}{3} = p

 \frac{8}{3} = p

I hope this will help you
