7 . Total outcomes = 90

(i) Two digit numbers are from 10 to 90 which are 81 in number.

P(getting a two-digit number) = 81/90 = 9/10

(ii) Perfect squares are 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 84.

P(getting a perfect square) = 9/90 = 1/10

(iii) Numbers divisible by 5 are 5, 10, .... , 90, which are 18 in number.

P(getting a number which is divisible by 5) = 18/90 = 2/10 = 1/5

8.  Here n(S)=52

There are 26 red cards (including 2 kings) and there are 2 more kings

Let E = event of getting a red card or a king

Then n(E)=28

∴P(E)=n(S)/ n(E)=28/52= 7 / 13
