Ans- seed do not germination when they are kept in an ice-box or refrigerator because seed do not get temperature without water,most cotton in ice-box .​

Explanation:

The germination of seed needs air, water and a optimum temperature and seed donot germinate due to unfavorable temperature as it has cools the thing put inside it . So germination donot take place.
