Let the length of wire she has be 'x' metre.

Length of wire used in making square

= 4× (side)

= 4 × 4

= 16 cm

Now, According to the question

x-16 = 5

x= 5+16

x= 21m

Hence, she had 21m of wire.

Answer:

Seema had 21cm of wire.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total length of wire be = a

Wire which was used = 4 × 4 = 16 cm

So now, A/Q

= a - 16 = 5

= a = 5 + 16

= a = 21 cm

  • Hence, Seema had wire of 21cm
