Seema has 3 ribbon which are 80cm, 72cm,and 96 cm long. She has to cut them into equal pieces to make bows. What is the length of the longest piece of ribbon that can be cut, so that no ribbon wasted

1st ribbon = 80cm

2nd ribbon = 72cm

3rd ribbon = 96cm

Now, Seema has cut the Ribbon into equal parts.

So, to find out the Length of each ribbon,

We have to find out the average

Average = (1st no.+2nd no.+3rd no.)÷3

= (80+72+96)÷3

= 248÷3

= 82.66; ans.

Thus the length of each ribbon=82.66
