Seema has a roll of ribbon of length 30m if she cuts strips of length 6/4 per strip ,how many strips can she get from the roll will be left

Length of roll = 30m
Length of each strip =6/4m
lets convert 6/4 into decimal
6/4=1.5(you can convert to decimal by dividing numerator by denominator)
NOW let's solve this
Number of strips=length of ribbon/length of each strip
30/1.5
Multiply numerator and denominator by 10
Then it will become
300/15=20
20 is the answer.
