given :-

total shares sold by seema = 600

each shares price = 650

she had to pay = 0.8%

received amount =?

Explanation:-

total share sold × price of 1 share = total amount of shares

600×650= 390000

total amount of shares = 390000

but she had to pay brokerage of 0.8% of the amount.

(390000/100%) × 0.8%

= 3120

she had to pay 3120rs to the brokerage

therefore,

total amount - the amount to pay = amount she receives

390000 - 3120 = 3,86,880

the amount she received is 3,86,880
