Seema travelled a certain distance in 2 hours. She travelled this distance partly by car and partly by bus . The speed of the bus is half of the speed of the car . If the distance travelled by car is 48 km and distance travelled by bus is 36 km. What is the distance between the speed of the bus and the car?

Speed of bus= x
Then speed of car= 2x
Distance travelled by bus= 36 km
similarly for car= 48 km
So calculate the time taken by each car and bus using the formula
: speed= dist/ time
Add both the time and equate it with 2
You will get the ans.

I will be able to cross a level then

let the speed of bus be x
speed of car = 2x
distance travelled by car =48 km
distance travelled by bus= 36 km
time taken by car and bus = 48/2x and 36/x
48/2x+ 36/ x=2 hr
24/x+36/x=2
60/x=2
x=30
speed of car = 60km/h
speed of bus = 40km/hr.
.
