Answer:
Seeta sells a dining set to Neeta for rupees 6000 and gains 20%
s.p = 6000
gain %= 20
c.p = s.p *100 /100 +gain
= 6000 * 100/120
= 50*100
= 5000 rs
cost price = 500 rs
we have to find for how much should he sell it to increase her profit by another 5%
so now total profit should be 25%
c.p = 5000
profit % = 25%
s.p = c.p *100 + gain / 100
= 5000 * 125/100
= 6250 rs
she must sell at 625o rs

S. p. of dining set =₹6000
gain = 20%
let the c.p =X
20% of 100= 20
s. p = 100+20= 120
If s. p. is ₹120 then c. p. 100
If s. p. is ₹1 then c. p. = 100/120
If s. p is ₹6000 then c. p. =100/120*6000= 5000
5000*5/100=250
6000+250=₹6250
