Gain = 20%

Let the CP be = Rs. x

or, x + 20% of x = 6000

120x/100 = 6000

x = 600000/120

x = 5000

We got CP = Rs. 5000

New profit = 25%

SP = 5000 + 25% of 5000

= 5000 + 25/100 * 5000

= 5000 + 1250

= 6250

So, to gain a profit of 25% she has to sell it for 6250.
