First we have converted both the time given into 24 hour clock system and then subtracted

Now keep in mind that during subtraction of time if the number written at the top is smaller and the below number is greater like in this question the top number was 00 and the below number was 15 , we make a rough work column and add 60 with the top number and then the bottom number is subtracted from the number that comes after adding 60 .

so here we did the calculations like this 00 + 60 = 60 - 15 = 45

After doing this calculations we cut the number written before to a previous number like here 20 becomes 19 just like we do in normal subtraction.
