my friend ,i would recommend you to take up the chapter fractions 

i suggest that because we could see fractions in your day to day life like cutting a piece of cake ,dividing the chocolates etc....

you can explain your classmates by taking an example of dividing a cake and disturbing equally  (or) in our school life,we can demonstrate or convey this necessity of adding fractions while adding up the total marks in the exams 

you can make a powerpoint presentation on fractions while adding pie charts,and day to day activities around us ...
