I have selected the reading "Uncle John's Farm" written by Mark Twain

Explanation:

  • In the story, visit a farm and then writes about his experience there
  • He describes the features in a way that it tells us about the culture, historical background and living style of the people
  • Though he has used humorous writing style throughout, he has sued some satire to expose the social harms

Answer:

In the speech “ I Have A Dream” Martin Luther King Jr. described the disrespect and the kind of stuff that black people had to deal with, different bathrooms, different drinking fountains and the unfairness of having to move out of seats for white people. He said the white people understood what they were doing was wrong, they were being treated badly and nobody really cared. He gave details and described that we shouldn’t be so quick to judge a person by their color, they have hopes and dreams and want the best for their family just like everyone else, because of his speeches people began to understand the mistreatment and the unfairness of the whole situation
