Milk: I will can it. I often buy a couple gallons of milk at Costco. We can’t or don’t drink that much milk so I use 1 gallon to make 4 quarts of homemade yogurt. Then I put the other gallon in a stock pot and lightly simmer the milk until it’s reduced by 30%. I then ladle the milk into jars and can it for 10 minutes. (in my pressure canner at 10lbs pressure) We use that milk if we run out of coffee milk and sometimes to cook with if there is no fresh milk. It’s a lot like evaporated milk but much cheaper.
