I am Asha. Today was one of the memorable days in my life. My teachers had selected me to participate in a state-level dancing competition. To choose the best dancers for it, teachers organised an internal competition. Students who were interested in dancing got involved in it. Even though I got tensed, I performed my level best. My classmates saw my performance and congratulated me. Sujatha madam told me the mistakes I did. Our principal madam said that I have the passion for dance. My parents were so happy to know this fantastic news. In future, I would become a good dancer like Sudha Chandran.

Dear Diary:
Today is one of the happiest days of my life. I got selected for dancing competition at the state level . My dance teacher helped me a lot. She made me practice 3 hours every day. During the practice sessions, she explained me the fine moves that would fetch me more marks. At home also I danced in front of the mirror. I watched many dance performances on Youtube. On the auditions day, I performed with all my heart, mind and soul. The best part was the judges liked my expressions, moves, and presentation. At the end I was given a thundering applause. I was so happy when my name was announced for the next level. I am so happy. I hope to win a position in the state level competition too. I will work very hard. It is wonderful opportunity for me to establish myself as a dancer in the country.
