Answer:

1. Format Cells is the most used feature of excel when it comes to formatting a cell value from General format to Number, Currency, Accounting, Date & so on. The shortcut to launch Format cells dialog box is “CTRL + 1”; there's no need to use mouse; hence, you can save your precious time.

2. Step 1: Select the cell A1, right click on the cell, popup will appear, select “Format Cells” or you can do one more thing select the cell A1 and press the key “CTRL + 1”. Step 2: The dialog box of “Format Cells” will appear. In the “Alignment” tab tick on “Wrap Text” and click on ok.

3. Alignment tab

One solution is to apply Shrink to fit to those cells. Go to the Alignment tab of the Format Cells dialog box. Shrink to fit is directly below Wrap text. Enabling Shrink to fit will automatically reduce the font size in a cell so that the text fits without wrapping.

1. Specify decimal places in Calc

To specify the number of decimal places in Calc, select the cell or cells you want to format. Then, open the Format Cells window (by right-click or Ctrl+1). Look at the Options section of the Numbers tab. Numerical data with General format have a blank Decimal places field

2. Select the cells or table you want to format.

In the Format sidebar, click the Cell tab.

Click the Data Format pop-up menu and choose an option: Number: Displays standard number formatting. Set the number of decimal places: In the Decimals field, type the number of decimal places you want to display.

3. On the Home tab, in the Alignment group, click Wrap Text. (On Excel for desktop, you can also select the cell, and then press Alt + H + W.) Notes: Data in the cell wraps to fit the column width, so if you change the column width, data wrapping adjusts automatically.
