1. Write the bank information, i.e., the name of the bank, the branch address and so on. If you're aware of the name of the manager, jot it down too. If not, then just write 'Manager'.

2. Make sure to have a subject line mentioned.

3. Start writing the body with elaboration of the subject line.

4. Remember to state the type of account you would like to opt for and mention the amount you would like to deposit.

5. While closing the letter, keep the English language friendly and courteous.

Tips:

All the personal information should be written at the top right hand column of the letter along with the date.

Also, this letter should be sent at the address of the bank (branch) where you wish to open your account.
