Yes self help groups has brought really a big change in the life of the rural sector because of the following reason..

1__It provides timely loan to the poor villages without any collateral. This shows that it solves the problem of collateral which was mostly faced by the poor people.

2__Self help groups also provide a platform where the villagers including women apart from taking loan can also discuss about the domestic problems and can also discuss on development of village like electricity water schools etc

This shows that shgs really changed the life of the rural people and give them various opportunies..
