Today the world is racing towards becoming the topmost economy in the world. Every country is aiming at increasing its export while minimizing import. It has become inevitable for India to start aiming at achieving full self-dependency and self-reliant. With various initiatives undertaken by government and like-minded individuals and organizations, Self-Reliant India Mission is one among many initiatives that aims towards cutting down import dependence.
Reducing import means that India has enough to sustain itself for the wants and needs of global market. It reduces the amount of money we pay to the international market and helps in the more circulation of money within the country itself. It is also important to increase export so that more income would be channeled from outside the country.
The basic step towards these aim to be start encouraging domestic and local businesses, products and services. Every citizen should especially the youth should be determined to use and encourage national products and services so that there would be more circulation of money within the country itself.
