I will say self study is better for learning because at some times you don't really listen to the class with atmost attention but I don't mean class is useless . what am trying tell is first study by yourself if you have any doubts download doubt solving apps or better go ask a teacher . and to stay up in the competition join a online test series ( I am assuming from your question that you are a science student preparing for some competitive exam)
