Selfies are not causing deaths of any persons. There are no reasons why selfies can cause such a severe result as a death.
Selfies are usually for people to share the good or sad moments of their life with their friends and occurrence of some important events. These are meant for communication and sharing with joy. There is no question of death.
If the pictures are exploited by some other cheats to blackmail the selfied person, then that is bad. But that is the crime by the other person and not the fault of the victim. That is not called selfie, if a photograph is taken by another person other than oneself.
how can a selfie cause a death? unless some person goes crazy to climb to the top of tall buildings or trees to take a selfie and post it to gain some credit... But that is the craziness of the person to do such risky adventure and put oneself in danger.
Some persons want to take selfie in the middle of a fast flowing river or on top of a steep mountain or rock... that is not correct.
It is not the technology or the selfie which puts person in danger, it is the crazy thought of impractical adventure that young hot-blooded persons do.
