Let the CP be Rs a

Profit = 30% of a

= 30a/100

= 3a/10

SP = CP +Profit

=> 390 = a + 3a/10

=> 390 = 13a/10

=> 3900=13a

=> a = Rs 300

Cost Price of toy car = Rs 300

Answer:

The cost Price of the toy is Rs. 300.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Selling price of the toy car = Rs. 390

Profit made = 30%

To find :

The cost price of the toy car

Solution :

Here :

  • Selling Price = Rs. 390
  • Profit = 30%
  • Cost Price = ??

\bigstar{\boxed{\sf\:{CP =  \frac{100}{(100 + profit\%)} \times SP}}}

\sf{\longrightarrow}\: CP =  \dfrac{100}{(100 + 30\%)} \times 390\\  \\ \sf{\longrightarrow}\: CP =  \dfrac{100}{130} \times 390 \\  \\ \sf{\longrightarrow}\: CP =  \dfrac{39000}{130} \\  \\ \sf{\longrightarrow}\: CP = 300

Cost Price = Rs. 300

\therefore The cost Price of the toy is Rs. 300.
