Water pollution is the pollution of bodies of water, such as lakes, rivers, seas, the oceans, as well as groundwater. It occurs when pollutants reach these bodies of water, without treatment. Waste from homes, factories and other buildings get into the waterbodies. ... It affects plants and organisms living in the water.

WATER POLLUTION
water dissolves the fertiliser and pesticides
that we use on our farmer. so some percentage of these substances are washed into water bodies. sewage from our towns and cities and waste from factories are also dumped into river or lakes . these make water pollution.
