Biogas is methane and carbon dioxide, produced during breakdown of organic matter. As we knoe most domestic waste are organic in nature, they form a very cheap, almost free source of biogas. Biogas csn br stored in tanks and used in stoves.

But other fuel such as kerosene, liquid petroleum gas and electricity used in households are expensive compared to biogas.
