My role in green India
Green India is a Herculean task which can be accomplished by ever Indian’s participation. My role in Green India is very crucial and important; if I don’t play it well, there is a possibility, it won’t be successful. India needs ‘Green India’ revolution urgently. The cities, towns, and villages have reached minimum greenery level. Any further depletion and degradation of greenery would result in catastrophe.
My role in ‘Green India’ movement means I have to be exceedingly responsible in preserving and creating greenery. The best I can do is plant trees, green plants or saplings in the empty place available around my place. I don’t have to go to a desert and plant tress everywhere. I can’t do it. however, if each one of us plants at least two or three trees around us, imagine how many trees will be planted in our country. At present the population of our country is 132.42 crores. It means if each Indian plants 2 plants, 132.42 X 2 = 264.84 crore trees in our country.
It will have a great positive impact on the Green India movement; it will be a great help to Government’s Green India initiatives.
The next important thing I can do is make people aware about the Green India Movement and rally them in this movement.
So, these are a few basic things I could do to contribute to Green India movement.
