Explanation:

old ratio of semma, mohit and meena = 7 : 6 : 7

semma = 7/20

mohit = 6/20

meena = 7/20

mohit reitired and the share was divided equally between semma and meena .

mohit's share taken by semma = 6/20× 1/2 = 6/40

mohit's share taken by meena = 6/20 × 1/2 = 6/40

New profit sharing ratio =

New share of semma =

= 6/40 + 7/20

= 6/40 + 14/40

= 20/40

New share of meena =

= 6/40 + 7/20

= 6/40 + 14/20

= 20/40

New profit sharing ratio =

semma : meena = 20/40 : 20/40

20 : 20 = 1 : 1

Hence, New profit sharing ratio of semma and meena will be 1 : 1
