2. Plasma membrane is a selectively permeable membrane because it allows only some materials to pass through it.

3. Blood is a liquid connective tissue which contains RBCs, WBCs, platelets, plasma and haemoglobin.

WBCs are the immunity of our body which fights against the pathogens that enter our body. Platelets are responsible for clotting the blood on the wound and prevent blood loss.

4. Adipose tissues contain a fat gobule. Its functiins are:

  • It provides heat protection and regulate the body temperature.
  • Its forms shock absorbing cusions around kidneys and eyeballs which provides protection.

5. Butterflies are bilaterally symmetrical and segmented. They have jointed legs. They also have an open circulatory system, and so blood does not flows in well defined blood vessels.

These features indicate that the butterflies are classified into Arthropoda.
