Explanation:

Childhood is the period everyone wants to relish again and again in his/her life. But what makes it beautiful? It is the people around us, our family and especially our parents. The innocent beings who are not capable of their own survival, on every point of life are supported by their parents unconditional love and care. Parents are a blessing in childhood. But what when they grow old. Is it that our love for them drowns in the air of realisation of our duties towards them? Being old doesn't mean that they are burden on us now, their years of experience, their blessings and their love are assets for us. If giving birth to a child and leaving them in the hands of orphanage is cruel so is leaving one's old parents in aging homes. Though they live in a company of their own age, they always long for their children for whom they had spent their whole of life working and struggling. Though these homes provide them care and support, they can never provide them the love and comfort they have in their own homes with their families. People surrounding us doesn't mean that we are complete, we can still be lonely and unhappy if mental peace is absent, which is the most common factor with elderlies in these supporting homes. The condition of such parents in these elderly homes is miserable inspite of being provided all the facilities. They demand nothing, just love and acceptance from their own family. Totally going with the saying that what you sow is what you harvest, their feelings can be well understood if we imagine ourselves in same conditions some fifty sixty years later. I hope this is enough for everyone to realise the misery of such people who are forced to elderly homes for no good reason by their younger ones. Its high time for everyone to respect the feelings of their elderlies as much as they do of their children and provide them the love and care they deserve.
