Dear Diary
This is my first day in the hostel. I am feeling so homesick. I have never stayed away from my parents before. I am missing my mother so much. Today is Sunday. If I was at home I would have gone out to play with my best friend and neighbor, Ashish. My mother would have prepared something special for lunch and in the evening she would take me to the park.
I did not want to join the hostel but because my father has been transferred to another place due to his job, he had to leave me here. It is mid term and I cannot change schools so though I dislike hostel life I have to stay here.
I am counting the number of days left for the vacation. Hope the vacation comes soon, then I can go back home.
Hope time flies and hostel life gets over soon.
