1. the method for seperating salt is by heat and for sand mixture is by sieving
2. when you heat the edible salt , all vapours will evaporate leaving only pure salt behind because salt have very high melting point and when you pass mixture of sand through sandfilter all the unwanted remain in the filter and the pure one seperate
3. one observes that the method of seperation for sand and salt varies alot
4. while heating salt precautions must be taken to avoid burn

• the method used for separating salt and sand is dissolve the mixture in water then sand will appears and remove saltwater from sand and then evaporate the water to get back salt
• when u dissolve salt in water sand remains in water and we get sand and when we evaporate water salt remains
• conclusion : finally salt and sand are separated
• note : we should collect water also by condensation
