The mixture of rice, gram and iron fillings can be separated by the following method.

First of all use a magnet to remove iron fillings from the mixture. Then u cam separate the grams and rice by the method of hand picking

The mixture of rice gram and iron fillings can be separated by Magnetic effect.
Iron is magnetic but the rice gram is not, which means a magnet could be used to attract the iron filings out of the mixture, leaving the rice gram.

Now you can easily separate rice and gram by the process of hand picking.
