Sequence of powers of 2

 1, 4, 9, 16,25,36,49,64,81, 100.........sequence

Given: Power = 2

To Find: Sequence of powers of 2

Solution:

In general, for any rational number (a) and a positive integer (n) we define.

 {a}^{n }  = a \times a \times a \times a ..........a \: (n \: times)

  • {a}^{n} is called the nth power of (a) and is also read as "a raised to the power n"
  • The a is called the base and n is called the power or exponent.

Similarly in {a}^{2} is called 2th power of (a)

Sequence of  {a}^{2}

Let first base number of sequence be 1.

  •  {1}^{2}  = 1 \\  {2}^{2}  = 4 \\  {3}^{2}  = 9 \\  {4}^{2}  = 16 \\  {5}^{2}  = 25 \\  {6}^{2}  = 36 \\  {7}^{2}  = 49 \\  {8}^{2}  = 64 \\  {9}^{2}  = 81 \\  {10}^{2}  = 100 \\ .......(sequence \: continue)

Hence, Sequence of powers of 2 = 1, 4, 9, 16,25,36,49,64,81, 100.........sequence continue
