The series is simple...

Start from 1.

Now 2*1=2.

And 2*1+3=5.

And then repeat this process for every second number.

Now repeat the process for 5.

5*2=10.

5*2+3=13.

Similarly for 13

13*2=26

26+3=29

Now following the trend,

we should have next number as

29*2=58 instead of 48.

SO 48 is misplaced and it should be replaced with 58,61 and so on.
