i am not that sure but i worked it out and the ratio remains the same:

A : B

4 : 7

SO: first make all of them into fractions A =4 over 11 while B is 7 over 11 take a half of (A)=get 2 over 11 so B becomes 9 over 11

then take a third from B ( 9 over 11) =gives u 2 over 11

so u add the a third to A and remove from B

gives u

A : b

4 ; 7
