Herpetology is the branch of Zoology in which the scientists study about the reptiles and the amphibians. Those Herpetologists which are specialized in the study of snakes can also call themselves serpentology. Snakes belongs to the reptiles which have dry and scaled body and they also have venom in themselves which is cause of death of many people.
