ANSWER :-

Sertoli cells are found towards the inner side of the Tunica perpuria membrane of the seminiferous tubules that are present inside the testicular lobules which are present inside the testicles.

EXTRAS :-

Their main function remains to provide nutrition to the sperms up until the point when they're ready to leave the testes.

  • The heads of sperms remain embedded or suspended in the cytoplasm of Sertoli cells
  • Sertoli cells also act as "scavenger cells" by carrying out the process of phagocytosis on the sperms that are either somehow damaged during the process of their making or are dead.
  • Sertoli cells are also known as nurse cells and sustenacular cells.
