Answer:

Helping others is not only good for them and a good thing to do, it also makes us happier and healthier too. Giving also connects us to others, creating stronger communities and helping to build a happier society for everyone. And it's not all about money - we can also give our time, ideas and energy.

The right match can help you to find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career. Giving to others can also help protect your mental and physical health. It can reduce stress, combat depression, keep you mentally stimulated, and provide a sense of purpose.

Empathy creates a connection that enables us to feel compassion. We can sense the suffering of others and this gives rise to to an impulse to alleviate their suffering, which in turn gives rise to altruistic acts. Because we can feel with other people, we are motivated to help them when they are in need.

The hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray. The saying … The hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray…is a proverb with a similar meaning. This saying elucidates that if man wants to worship god they can do better by serving by serving the poor and the needy.

What is the meaning of serving others?

Being a servant leader means putting the interests of others above your own. You've probably seen some variation of these words before, but ask yourself the following questions: Do you put others before yourself in the workplace, among your friends or in your school setting?

the service to humanity results in the oneness. It brings hope and life to the downtrodden and the disheartened. When peace and harmony becomes the main cause of every kind of service rendered to the nation and its people, it becomes the service to God.

That is why Swami Vivekanand said 'Service to God is service to man'.

Thanks.

Explanation:

SERVICE TO MAN IS SERVICE TO GOD

Charles Eliot Norton, an American educator and humanitarian, said, “They

serve God well who serve His creatures,” The noblest and the best of God’s creations

is, indeed, man. If we wish to worship God, the best way to do so would be to devote

our lives to the service of the poor and the destitute. Everyone recognizes the value

of this kind of noble work and acknowledges its greatness. Politicians, statesmen

and military generals are often forgotten with the passing of time. But noble souls

like Gandhiji and Mother Teresa earn universal reverence and always live in the

hearts of people.

Even many rich people are often unwilling to help a beggar, an orphan, a widow

or a poor deserving student. Little do they realize that God dwells in the hearts of

their fellowmen. Only by serving their fellowmen they will be rendering true service

to God.

It is an unspoken truth that if life has been favourable to you, you have to give back

to society what you have got from it. And the best way is to be of service to your

fellowmen.
