Find the number of marbles each has.

{\huge{\boxed{\underline{\underline{\bf Solution:-}}}}}

Let

Number of marble of Parmit = x

Number of marble of Irfan = 5x + 7 = 37

5x + 7 = 37

5x = 37 - 7

5x = 40

x = 40/5

x = 8

Number of marble of Parmit = x = 8

❍ Given :-

  • Irfan have 7 marbles more than five times the marbles Parmit has
  • Irfan have 37 marbles

❍ To Find :-

  • Number of marbles both have

❍ Solution :-

According to the question,

Let number of Parmit have be x

So number marbles Irfan = 5x + 7 = 37

➸ 5x + 7 = 37

➸ 5x = 37 - 7

➸ 5x = 30

➸ x =  \frac{30}{5}

➸ x = 6

Therfore, number of marbles,

  • Parmit have is 7
