Answer:

3/10 or 3:10

Step-by-step explanation:

It is already a given that Seth will watch a movie and will have a snack. He had two genres to choose from with 3 movies in one and 2 in the other (action and comedy). He also has 2 snacks to choose from (popcorn or nachos). If the only genre available was comedy, and there were still two snacks, the ratio would be 1/2 or 1:2, but seeing as there are now 2 genres, common sense and math has to be used (primary multiplication) which gets us to a total of 10 results. 2 of those 10 can be comedies, and one of those 10 result in eating popcorn. Using basic Reception addition, (1+2) the ratio comes to 3/10 or 3:10.
