● Explanation -

Given that -

n(A×B) = 11

But we know,

n(A×B) = n(A).n(B)

11 = x.y

y = 11/x

Now, to solve -

x/y + y/x = x/(11/x) + (11/x)/x

x/y + y/x = x²/11 + 11/x²

Putting x = 11/y,

x/y + y/x = (11/y)²/11 + 11/(y/11)²

x/y + y/x = y²/11 + 11/y²
