(a) Overlapping   -   The number 6 is in both sets.

(b) Disjoint   -   The first set is just {A} and the second is just {E}, so there is no letter in common.

(c) Overlapping   -   The letter 'A' is in both sets.

(d) Disjoint   -   There are no letters in common to the two sets.

(e) Overlapping   -   January is in both sets.
