Set of perfect squares = S = { 1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81}

Sets of cubes =C = { 1,8,27,64}

S∩C = { 1,64}.

They have elements in common hence, they aren't disjoint sets.

For disjoint sets, S∩C=∅.

Hi ,

set of perfect squares less than 100 is A

A = { 1 , 4 , 9 , 16 , 25 , 36 , 49 , 64 , 81 }

set of cubes less than 100 is B

B = { 1 , 8 , 27 , 64 }

But A intersection B = { 1 , 64 }

Therefore ,

A and B are not disjoint sets.

I hope this helps you.

:)

HappiestWriter012: A intersection B = 1,64 sir
